SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies laycan date range in delivered bunker MOC

S&P Global Platts would like to remind participants that bids and offers in the delivered bunker fuel oil Market on Close assessment process must reflect typical market practice.

Bids and offers that do not reflect typical market practice may not be published or may be normalized.

Platts Asian delivered bunker assessments reflect bunker fuel for delivery three to seven days from the date of publication.

Platts understands that typical market practice in the delivered bunker markets is for bids/offers to state delivery over two or three days, which is subsequently narrowed to one day by the buyer.

Please send any feedback, comments or questions to asia_bunkers@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.
