Platts proposes daily Asia propylene CFR China assessments

Platts invites industry feedback and written comments on its proposal to launch daily propylene assessments, basis CFR China, on July 16. (The proposal was originally published as July 2) The assessment period will be for cargoes delivered 20-40 days forward from date of publication. China main ports will include Shanghai, Dalian, Nanjing, Shantou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nantong and Ningbo. Platts will also publish daily China ex-tank prices in yuan, which will be inclusive of the 17% value added tax. CFR Taiwan, CFR Southeast Asia and FOB Japan will remain as weekly assessments.
