Platts to discontinue Group 3 off-road LSD July 1

Magellan Pipeline has announced that beginning June 15, it will no longer accept shipments of on-road and off-road low sulfur diesel throughout the majority of its system. As a result of Magellan's decision, Platts will cease to assess Group 3 off-road LSD on July 1, 2010, with the last assessment published on June 30, 2010.

Platts previously announced it would discontinue its Group 3 on-road LSD assessments on June 15, 2010. The Group 3 off-road LSD assessment is published on Platts Global Alert page 18, US Marketscan, Oilgram Price Report, and Platts Dispatch.
