Platts to add three postings for REX, Transwestern and Tennessee pipelines

Following feedback from market participants, Platts will begin publishing daily and monthly natural gas spot prices August 2 for three new North American locations in the daily and monthly bidweek markets. The pricing locations -- Transwestern Pipeline, San Juan; Rockies Express, Clarington and Tennessee, Zone 4-Ohio -- are trading locations Platts has been tracking for some time and appear to have sufficient liquidity to establish consistent price postings.

TRANSWESTERN PIPELINE CO. - SAN JUAN BASIN

Deliveries to Transwestern at points included in Transwestern's Blanco Hub in San Juan County, New Mexico.

The monthly bidweek posting for Transwestern, San Juan, will appear in the "Prices of Spot Gas Delivered to Pipelines" tables in Inside FERC's Gas Market Report and Platts Energy Trader. The daily Transwestern, San Juan, posting will appear in the "New Mexico-San Juan Basin" section of Gas Daily's "Daily price survey" table. In Platts Energy Trader, it will appear in the "Rockies/Northwest" section of the "Daily spot gas prices" table.

ROCKIES EXPRESS PIPELINE, CLARINGTON, OHIO

Deliveries from REX at Clarington in Monroe County, Ohio, to Dominion Transmission Inc. or Texas Eastern Transmission Corp. Deliveries to the local distributor Dominion East Ohio are not included at this location.

The monthly bidweek postings will appear in the "Market Center Spot Gas Prices" tables in Inside FERC's Gas Market Report and Platts Energy Trader and the "Market Center Bidweek Physical Basis Prices" table in Inside FERC?s Gas Market Report. The daily "REX Clarington" posting will appear in the "Appalachia" section of Gas Daily's "Daily price survey" table and the "Northeast" section of Platts Energy Trader's "Daily spot gas prices" table.

TENNESSEE GAS PIPELINE CO., ZONE 4-OHIO

Deliveries to Tennessee from Rockies Express Pipeline in Guernsey and Muskingum counties in East Ohio.

The monthly bidweek postings will appear in the "Prices of Spot Gas Delivered to Pipelines" tables in Inside FERC?s Gas Market Report and Platts Energy Trader and the "Bidweek Physical Basis Prices Delivered to Pipelines" table in Inside FERC's Gas Market Report. The daily "Tennessee, Zone 4-Ohio" posting will appear in the "Appalachia" section of Gas Daily's "Daily price survey" table and the "Northeast" section of Platts Energy Trader's "Daily spot gas prices" table.
