Following industry feedback, Platts has decided to discontinue most of its low sulfur diesel (500 ppm max sulfur) assessments in the US Atlantic Coast, US Gulf Coast, Chicago and US West Coast markets.
This discontinuation is needed due to a change in US fuel standards.
The following assessments will no longer be assessed after June 29, 2012:
USGC Low Sulfur Diesel off-road pipeline - AATGS00 USGC Low Sulfur Diesel off-road waterborne - AATGT00
Chicago Low Sulfur Diesel off-road - AATGU00
Boston Low Sulfur Diesel off-road (cargo) - AATHC00 New York Harbor Low Sulfur Diesel off-road (barge) - AATGR00 New York Harbor Low Sulfur Diesel off-road (cargo) - AATGP00
Portland Low Sulfur (EPA) Diesel - POAEW00 Seattle Low Sulfur (EPA) Diesel - POAEX00
The following low sulfur diesel blends are not being discontinued and will still be assessed until further notice:
US West Coast Gasoil 0.05% sulfur - AADDV00 US Gulf Coast Low Sulfur Diesel waterborne - POAES00
