Platts confirms end of certain Baltic, Med freight assessments

Following industry feedback, Platts confirms that it will suspend as planned the publication of certain assessments of freight rates for Urals and Kirkuk deliveries from the Baltic and Mediterranean ports.

These assessments, which are listed below, are only published on Platts Global Alert page 865, and they are not databased in Platts price assessment database or available in any other publication.

As announced on April 17, Platts will discontinue these assessments on July 2, 2012.
