Platts announces start date for Transco Zone 5 methodology change and Transco, Station 165 index launch

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will change the methodology of the Transco, zone 5 delivered South daily (IGCHL00) and monthly (IGCHL03) natural gas indices to exclude transactions at Station 165 for flow in July 2024. Platts will also launch the new Transco, Station 165 index at the same time.

These changes will take effect for monthly indices on trade date June 24 for July bidweek, and for daily indices on trade date June 28 for flow on July 1.
