Platts to discontinue US PTA weekly commentary

S&P Global Platts will discontinue its weekly US purified terephthalic acid (PTA) commentary, effective July 1, 2019.

The content typically found in the weekly PTA commentary can be found in the weekly paraxylene and polyethylene terephthalate commentaries.

The PTA commentary appears in Polymerscan and on Platts Petrochemical Alert page PCA1550.

This discontinuation will not affect the Platts PTA assessments.
