SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes discontinuing USGC conventional premium extended pipeline assessments

Platts is proposing the discontinuation of extended pipeline assessments for Gulf Coast premium conventional gasoline (V grade) on December 1, 2016. Platts will continue to assess the prompt cycle for V grade (PGAJB00).

The extended pipeline assessments currently reflect V grade gasoline moving on the Colonial Pipeline for six forward cycles. The codes for the assessments are as follows:

Assessment Code Monthly avg RVP Cycle Unl 93 Cycle 01 AAELI00 AAFOS00 AAELIRV AAELICY Unl 93 Cycle 02 AAELJ00 AAFOT00 AAELJRV AAELJCY Unl 93 Cycle 03 AAELK00 AAFOU00 AAELKRV AAELKCY Unl 93 Cycle 04 AAELL00 AAFOV00 AAELLRV AAELLCY Unl 93 Cycle 05 AAELM00 AAFOW00 AAELMRV AAELMCY Unl 93 Cycle 06 AAELN00 AAFOX00 AAELNRV AAELNCY

Feedback from market participants suggests that liqudity is thin for premium gasoline in the Gulf Coast, especially for trading past the prompt cycle.
