Effective August 1, 2010, and due to IMO legislation governing the sulfur content in intermediate fuel oil used in the Baltic and North Seas, Platts proposes the discontinuation of its 1.5% sulfur assessments in the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Great Belt, Gdansk, St Petersburg, Falmouth and Dunkirk.
