Platts wishes to clarify that only its Northwest Europe DES LNG and Southwest Europe DES LNG assessments will be used in the analysis to determine if European destinations offer the best netback value on a FOB US Gulf basis when assessing the GCM (LGCSM01), from April 18, 2018. In the absence of verifiable trade information, Platts will consider the value a one-off cargo of LNG may fetch in the global market by comparing assessed DES values, such as JKM, MEM, West India, NWE and SWE that day, when netted back to a FOB US Gulf basis. Previously European on shore Natural Gas hubs, NBP and TTF have also been considered. Please send any feedback or questions to lng@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com. For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing. Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available to the public upon request.
