Platts to reflect non-EU 1% barges, effective January 3, 2011

Effective January 3, 2011, Platts plans to reflect non-EU qualified low sulfur fuel oil barge material in its Northwest European 1.0% sulfur fuel oil barge assessments.

In the meantime, Platts 1.0% sulfur barge assessments will continue to reflect EU qualified material.

Up to the end of this year, bids, offers or transactions for non-EU material will be normalised to reflect EU qualified material.
