Platts clarifies updates to hydrogen cost calculations capex figures

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to clarify that two additional capital expenditure figures were updated March 31 as part of an annual update.

Platts made several updates to its capital expenditure and weighted-average cost of capital figures, used in the cost-of-production calculations of many of its global hydrogen assessments. These changes were made as part of an annual review of the Platts hydrogen methodology, which went into effect March 31, 2025.
