SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue Breakbulk Brazil 45 white sugar price

S&P Global Platts has decided to discontinue the FOB Paranagua Breakbulk Brazil 45 white sugar outright price and related differential, effective August 1, 2019, due to changing market dynamics and diminishing liquidity.

The proposed change will affect the following assessments:

These assessments appear on Platts Agriculture Alert page 510, in the Kingsman Daily Sugar Market Report and in the Platts price data under the codes above.

Platts will continue to assess the FOB Santos Container Brazil 45 white sugar outright price and related differential.

Container prices typically trade at a premium to breakbulk shipments.
