About Commodity Insights

Platts has reconsidered its plan to end putting pluses and minuses next to assessments in its publications and services. The move was to be effective July 1, 2009.
After hearing feedback from the industry, Platts will continue to seek to modify the way it displays pluses and minuses, but will need additional time to consider its approach and whether elimination is the preferred option.
Our goal will continue to be implementing a more consistent methodology in the display of pluses and minuses, but more time is necessary to determine the best way of doing that. Therefore, there will be no change on July 1, 2009.
