Platts revises European recycled-PET flake specifications

Following consultation, S&P Global Platts has decided to revise the specifications for its recycled-PET flake spot assessments for the UK and Northwest Europe, in light of market feedback and effective July 5, 2019.

Specifications will be revised as follows:

Assessment, IV value, Other specs

Recycled-PET Flakes 0.72-0.78 Colorless hot-wash flake from 100% post-consumer recycled content

No other PET specifications have been changed.
