Subscriber note: Platts extends consultation on UK power calendar

Platts is extending the consultation period for its proposal to launch additional UK power forward curve assessments based on the Gregorian calendar following industry feedback and consultation with the Power Trading Committee of the Futures and Options Association. Given ongoing industry discussions about the shift from EFA to Gregorian trading, Platts now expects to publish its declarative subscriber note by the end of June. Platts will continue to pursue discussions with key stakeholders as part of the consultation process and invites liquidity providers to contact the UK power desk at the earliest opportunity.
