Discontinuing US acetone T2 DER assessments

Following industry feedback, Platts will discontinue the US acetone assessment basis T2 Delivered East of Rockies in $/mt, effective July 5, 2011.

This assessment for truck/rail cargoes used to reflect monthly contract transaction prices for acetone meant for used in the production of methyl methacrylate.

Industry participants have since stopped this monthly contract transaction.

The Oracle code affected by this discontinuation is AAHYC00.
