SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies ethanol Grade B CFR Ulsan quality, payment terms

S&P Global Platts seeks to clarify that its biofuels methodology for AAXVA00 Ethanol Grade B CFR Ulsan assessment reflects non-GM sugarcane as the basis feedstock.

In the absence of sugarcane-based Grade B ethanol price information, Platts may also refer to other accepted feedstocks and will use prevailing spot quality differentials to normalize to sugarcane-based Grade B ethanol.

Payment terms are also clarified as "industry standard terms", whether these are LC at sight or telegraphic transfer.
