Platts maintains its FOB Morocco phosphate rock assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will not be moving forward with its proposal published in an earlier subscriber note here (opens in a new tab) of changing its FOB Morocco Phosphate Rock, 68-72 BPL(FPRMA04) assessment.

Platts will continue to assess the price to reflect Platts' view of a repeatable tradable value for phosphate rock quarterly contracts and spot market activity.

The decision follows engagement with market participants.

The price will continue to appear in all current publications and in the Platts price database under the code FPRMA04.
