Platts amends Worldscale flat rate for Clean West Coast India MR routes from June 5

Following a Worldscale Association update to New Mangalore port, S&P Global Platts has amended, effective June 5, 2023, the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations for Medium Range, or MR clean tanker assessments for the West Coast India-North Asia and Persian Gulf-West Coast India routes.

With these amendments, the new average flat rates are as follows in $/mt.

West Coast India-South Korea 35Kt - 21.63

West Coast India-Japan 35Kt - 23.23

West Coast India-Singapore 35Kt - 12.32

Persian Gulf-West Coast India 35kt - 9.24

Persian Gulf-West Coast India 55kt - 9.24
