In the absence of spot indications for hydrogenated solvents barge markets, Platts assesses FOB Rotterdam prices as a premium to related upstream products or at parity to equivalent aromatics assessments in the case of solvents toluene and xylene. In the absence of spot indications for oxygenated solvents, oxo-alcohols and intermediates barge markets, Platts assesses FOB Rotterdam prices as a netback from the FD truck prices by subtracting a freight component and converting into $/mt. This will impact all of the following assessments:
