Platts to update three Americas ammonium sulfate price assessment methodology
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will update the specifications of three US ammonium sulfate price assessments, effective July 1.
The amendments will include the introduction of new "close" values and updates to specifications such as quality, quantity and timing for the assessments to better reflect AS market dynamics in North America. Following the change, the current low and high values will be standardized to $1/st above and below the assessed close value.
