Platts proposes to update methodology for three Americas Ammonium Sulfate price assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to update the specifications of three US Ammonium Sulfate price assessments, effective July 1.
The amendments would include the introduction of new "close" values and updates to specifications such as quality, quantity and timing for the assessments to better reflect AS market dynamics in North America. Following the proposed change, the current low and high values would be standardized to $1/st above and below the assessed close value.
