Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will change the timestamp for its Thailand FOB Rice assessments from 11:30 London Time to 16:30 Indian Standard Time, with effect from July 1, 2024.
This change is intended to better capture the concentration of trading activity in the Thai rice markets and will affect both daily and weekly assessments.
Assessments affected by this change are as follows:

As of July 1, bids, offers, trades and indicative values will only be considered for the assessment if they are received before the 16:30 Indian Standard Time cutoff. In addition, the assessments will follow Platts' India publication calendar, available here: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/holiday.
