Platts amends MTBE, benzene and toluene conversion factors effective June 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended factors, used for conversion between $/mt and cents/gallon for benzene, MTBE and toluene, effective June 3.

The new values are as follows:

The affected assessments are published on Fixed Pages -- PB1410, PC318, and PC900, as well as on real-time service and Platts Connect.

Platts initially proposed the launch of these assessments on May 21, in a subscriber note available here.

Platts later announced the decision to change the conversion factors on May 28, in a subsequent subscriber note available here .
