SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes discontinuing US daily spark spread table

S&P Global Platts is proposing to discontinue the US daily spark spread table published in Coal Trader

Platts believes the spark spread in its current design is no longer relevant to the market. Platts is considering possible replacements, but is still studying several scenarios.

The proposed discontinuation would take effect January 2, 2017.
