Platts proposes to revamp and enhance the pages carrying forward curve assessments for Asia with effect from August 1, 2011.
Platts will granulate all of its existing forward curve assessments to show the value of each individual contract month assessed, as well as existing quarterly and annual strip assessments. As announced earlier this month, Platts will also provide midpoints for all assessments, where they are not already published.
All midpoints will be expressed to three decimal places.
Platts Foward Curve Asia pages will also be re-catalogued so that all pages are published on a page series starting at PPA 2600.
Existing page numbers will be discontinued a month later, on September 1.
