Platts updates forex rates used for its India I-REC assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has changed the foreign exchange (forex) rates used for its India I-REC assessments, effective June 2, 2025.
For USD to INR conversions, Platts will now use AAFGW00 instead of USI1200. For USD to EUR conversions, it will use AAWFU00 instead of EUU1200.
This change follows a revision to the timestamps of the previous forex assessments ( USI1200 and EUU1200), which have shifted from a 12:00 GMT timestamp to the UK calendar timestamp (16:30 London).
