SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to start Turkish monthly power assessments

Following a period of consultation, Platts will launch a daily assessment of Turkish month-ahead baseload power (TRY/MWh TKCSM00, Eur/MWh TKCTM00) and respective rolling monthly average (TRY/MWh TBRCM00, Eur/MWh TBRTM00), effective July 1, 2014. Platts will also publish Turkish month-ahead spark spread indicators at 45% (TRY/MWh TKSSM00, Eur/MWh TKSTM00) and 50% (TRY/MWh TKSSC00, Eur/MWh TKSTC00) efficiencies, alongside a 40% efficiency month-ahead dark spread (TRY/MWh TKSCD00, Eur/MWh TKSTD00) indicator. The assessments and indicators will be published on European Power Alert pages EP0260 and EP0261 and in Platts Market Data. The daily power assessments will also be published in European Power Daily while the rolling month-ahead average and the spark and dark spread indictors will be published in Turkish Energy Bulletin, a new weekly supplement to European Power Daily.
