Rig count data, crude postings on PGA, NGA

With effect from July 1, 2011, Platts will add more depth to North American data for rig counts published on Platts Global Alert and Natural Gas Alert, and crude oil posted prices published on Platts Global Alert. After the changes are made, Platts will publish rig count data provided by Baker Hughes for all 50 US states, compared to the 10 selected states shown currently.

Platts will also publish a more detailed breakdown of Baker Hughes' Canadian rig count data. At the same time, Platts will move the publication of rig count and posted price data from their existing pages to a new page series. For a full list of affected pages, please see the table below.
