Platts clarifies Latin naphtha methodology

Effective May 20, 2009, Platts' Ecuadorean naphtha and Peruvian naphtha spot assessments are calculated as a differential to US Gulf Coast naphtha (Ecuadorean) or US Gulf Coast unleaded waterborne gasoline (Peruvian), and then are converted from cents/gal into $/barrel.

Previously, these assessments had been calculated by converting the basis into $/barrel, and then adding or subtracting the differential.
