Following market feedback S&P Global Platts has postponed the previously announced Platts ethanol methodology workshop to July 19, 2018.
The workshop will be held at the Heritage Plaza building, 1111 Bagby Street, Houston, Texas, starting at 3 pm.
This workshop will focus on four main methodology and assessment areas: * The five-15 days forward Chicago Argo terminal transfer dates * Including more terminals within the Chicago basis location * The nomination process of transfer of ethanol that has traded in the Platts Market on Close assessment process * Platts Market on Close Assessment Process one minute pricing period or "freeze"
The aim of the workshop is to review feedback gathered from the market on the topics specified and discuss any proposed changes.
Any subsequent amendments to Platts ethanol pricing methodology would follow normal editorial standards including a formal feedback, proposal and review process.
