S&P Global Platts has revised the volumes reflected in its Canada bunker fuel assessments with effect from June 1, 2017.
These changes match changes implemented in US Atlantic Coast and US West Coast bunker assessments on February 1, 2017. Those changes were announced in a subscriber note found here: https://www.platts.com/subscriber-notes-details/21766488
CHANGES TO VOLUME SIZES: Platts has revised the minimum and maximum assessed ranges for IFO 380, IFO 180 and MGO in Montreal and Vancouver. Typical sizes vary from port to port. Trades reported for volumes outside typical ranges may
be considered atypical when assessing standard tradeable volumes. These revised ranges and sizes are summarized in the following charts for ex-wharf and delivered assessments:
EX-WHARF ASSESSMENTS REGION IFO 380 IFO 180 MGO Montreal 250-1000 300 150 Vancouver 500-1500 300 150
DELIVERED ASSESSMENTS REGION IFO 380 IFO 180 MGO Montreal 250-500 150 75 Vancouver 250-750 150 75
