Platts discontinues weekly averages of global propylene oxide, polyol, isocyanate spot assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued the weekly averages of the propylene oxide, polyol and isocyanate spot assessments in Asia, the US and Europe, following market feedback, effective June 1. The last averages will be published on May 30.
The averages became redundant after Platts amended(opens in a new tab) the frequency of the propylene oxide, polyols, and isocyanate spot assessments in Asia, the US, and Europe, from daily to weekly.
The changes were originally proposed in a subscriber note published Feb. 21, available here(opens in a new tab), and confirmed in a decision note published March 17, available here(opens in a new tab).
