Platts proposes frequency change for global propylene oxide, polyols and isocyanates spot assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to change the frequency of the propylene oxide, polyols and isocyanate spot assessments in Asia, the US, and Europe to weekly, effective April 25.

The proposed change aims to align the assessments' frequency with the liquidity patterns in these spot markets.

Under the proposal, the prices would be databased on Friday and would appear on Platts Connect. Propylene oxide prices and commentary will also be published in Olefinscan, while isocyanate and polyol prices and commentary will be published in Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan and Asian Petrochemicalscan.

As part of this proposal, Platts would discontinue related weekly averages, effective May 30.
