Platts to amend frequency of global propylene oxide, polyols and isocyanates spot assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the frequency of the propylene oxide, polyols and isocyanate spot assessments in Asia, the US and Europe from daily to weekly, effective April 25.
The change aims to align the assessments' frequency with the liquidity patterns in these spot markets.
Propylene oxide prices and commentary will be published in Olefinscan while isocyanate and polyol prices and commentary will be published in Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan and Asian Petrochemicalscan. All pricing and commentaries will be published on Platts Connect.
The publication schedule of commentaries is not impacted by the change in assessment frequency.
As part of the change in assessment frequency, Platts has decided to discontinue related weekly averages, effective May 30.
The change in assessment frequencies and weekly average discontinuations were originally proposed in a subscriber note Feb. 21, which can be found here(opens in a new tab).
