SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to change dimensions of NW EU Rebar assessment

S&P Global Platts has decided to change the specifications of its northwest European ex-works steel rebar assessment (code STCBE00) from July 1, 2016, to reflect the market's most liquidly traded diameters, following a period of market consultation.

Following the change, the diameter in the assessment specifications will be lowered to 12-16 mm from 16-20 mm.

The new specification will be implemented from July 1.
