Platts to add water spec to USGC 3%S fuel oil

Following a period of industry feedback, Platts is planning to add a water specification of 0.5% maximum to its existing US Gulf Coast 3% sulfur fuel oil basis on June 1.

This change would bring the Platts USGC 3% sulfur fuel oil specification more in line with typical market practices.
