No Canadian crude or bunker assessments May 18

Platts will not publish Canadian crude or bunker assessments on Monday, May 18, 2009, due to the Victoria Day holiday in Canada.

Going forward, Platts will not publish Canadian crude or bunker assessments on the following Canadian holidays: Family Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday/Heritage Day, Thanksgiving (October), Remembrance Day and Boxing Day.

Previously, Platts published Canadian crude and bunker assessments on Canadian holidays when its US offices were open. Platts noted these changes in the 2009 Platts Holiday Schedule when it was published on Platts.com in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Canadian crude assessments are published in Crude Oil Marketwire, North American Crude Wire, Platts Global Alert, Oilgram Price Report, and in Dispatch. Canadian bunker assessments for Vancouver and Montreal are published in Bunkerwire, Platts Global Alert, and in Dispatch.
