SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies hierarchy of information in European polymer methodology

S&P Global Platts has updated its European petrochemicals specifications guide to clarify the hierarchy of information used in polymer contract price assessments.

Platts prioritizes transparent and verifiable data that has been tested in the market and reflects the negotiated and mutually-agreed absolute price. Any other market information -- including, but not limited to, deltas -- may be considered in the assessment process.
