Platts amends Mexico gasoline assessment name

Please note that S&P Global Platts has corrected the name for its East Mexico gasoline assessment code, AAXWA00, effective May 13, 2020.

The change only affects the name in the price database, not any fixed page or publication.

The name has been corrected from Gasoline RBOB CIF Eastern Mexico Cargo to Gasoline CIF Eastern Mexico Cargo, to reflect the underlying assessment methodology.

This change only affects the labeling of the assessment in the price database. There is no change to the underlying methodology or value.

The assessment appears on Platts Global Alert pages 164, 165, 370 and 371; in Platts Latin American Wire and Platts Oilgram Price Report; and in the Platts price database under the code AAXWA00.
