SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts increases freight flat rate for routes including New Mangalore

Please note that following an increase in Port Tariffs at New Mangalore effective May 13, 2016, rates involving this port have been revised by the Worldscale Association and will be reflected accordingly by Platts. According to Worldscale circular no. 12/2016, the amendment is effective for all voyages on which loading is commenced on or after May 13, 2016. This will affect the $/mt rates of the East of Suez clean tanker assessments namely AG-India 55kt, Red Sea-India 35kt, AG-India 35kt, India-S Korea 35kt, India-Japan 35kt and India-Singapore 35kt. The rates appear in the Platts database under the corresponding codes TCAAG00, TCABI00, TCAAF00, TCAEG00, TCAEE00 and TCAEC00 respectively. These assessments appear in Platts Clean Tankerwire and in Platts Global Alert pages 2922 and 2920 respectively. The updated flat rates for the following assessments are: 55kt AG-India: $6.41/mt 35kt Red Sea-India: $8.49/mt 35kt AG-India: $6.41/mt 35kt India-S Korea: $14.06/mt 35kt India-Japan: $15.42/mt 35kt India-Singapore: $7.56/mt
