Commodity: Petrochemicals Region: Asia
Platts invites feedback by May 28 on plans to revise the cargo size and port locations for its Asian propylene assessments to reflect changes in petrochemicals trading practices in Asia.
Platts plan to assess propylene FOB Korea, CFR Taiwan, CFR South East Asia, FOB Japan and CFR China basis 1,500mt.
Platts assessment at present takes into account standard pressurized propylene cargo sizes of 1,500-3,000mt.
Platts also plans to include the following ports into its assessed basis and locations: FOB Korea - Onsan, CFR Taiwan - Mailiao, CFR South East Asia (Malaysia) - Kertih, Kuantan, Port Dickson, CFR South East Asia (Singapore) - Singapore.
