SUBSCRIBER NOTE RESEND: Platts to launch Med Urals crude in eWindow May 8

Effective May 8, Platts will launch Mediterranean and Urals crude cargoes in the eWindow communication tool for its Market On Close assessment process. This will create a different format for headlines of bids and offers published on Platts Global Alert page 3. For example, a headline that would currently appear as "URALS CRUDE: Company A offers Urals ex-Novo, Loading 5 May-9 May, 80 kt +/- 10% at DTD minus $0.10/b CIF basis Augusta, BL + 3" will, from May 8, be published as "Platts Urals Med CIF Crg Novo-bss Augusta 10-25, Company A offers May 5-May 9 100% Dated Brent BL+3 $-0.10 for 80000-80000, Payment BL+30 days". Company short-form names may also appear differently. The final pricing period when updates to bids or offers are no longer possible will be 16:24:59.999 London time to close at 16:30:00:999 London time. Incrementability will remain at the current standard: a maximum of $0.05/barrel, a minimum of one minute. The minimum price increment will remain fixed at $0.01/b. It will remain possible to repeat a bid or an offer within one minute of a trade being concluded. If a repeat is made in the last 20 seconds of the MOC process -- between 16:29:40:999 London time and 16:30:00:999 London time -- it will trigger a price extension of one minute.
