Platts corrects May 6 Rice Daily, Rice Weekly reports to include May 5 Brazilian prices

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has corrected its Rice Daily and Rice Weekly publications dated May 6, which mistakenly contained the previous day's prices for Brazilian 5% broken white rice (LRGAB00) and Brazilian Parboiled 5% STX (LRGCB00) when first published.

The correct published value of both assessments should have read $560/mt FOB FCL, rather than the originally published $565/mt FOB FCL. As per Platts publication scheduling, South American rice assessments are concluded the day prior to their publication in the Rice Daily and Rice Weekly.

The values appear correctly in the Platts price database against the respective assessment codes, and the PDF reports have since been updated.
