SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to add specifications for Atlantic Basin Blast Furnace Iron Ore Pellets assessments

Platts is seeking industry feedback on its proposal to publish, starting July, 1, 2015, underlying product specifications for the Atlantic Basin Blast furnace Iron Ore Pellets Estimated Monthly Contract Price and Premium.

The specifications are as follows: 65% Fe; Silica 3%; Alumina 0.5%; CCS 275; LTD +6.3 mm, 80; Sizing over 9 mm is 94%; Sizing below 6.3 mm 2.5%.

The assessment is published in Platts SBB Steel Markets Daily, on Platts Metals Alert and in the Platts SBB Steel Price Analyzer.
