Discontinuing methanol from Solventswire, PCA398

Following an internal review, Platts will discontinue the weekly European and US methanol assessments currently published on Platts Petrochemical Alert page 398 and the weekly Platts Solventswire from May 31, 2011.

The affected assessments are basis FOB Rotterdam in Euro/mt and FOB US Gulf in $/mt converted from cents/gallon. The other daily and weekly US and European methanol assessments published on PCA 540, 541, 346, 347 and the Europe & Petrochemical Scan, will not be affected by this change.
