04 May 2009 | 10:52 UTC — New York
To ensure greater participation and liquidity during the assessment process, Platts will advance by four hours the timing of its Asian Market-On-Close assessment process on Thursday, April 30, 2009, which precedes the Labor Day holiday being observed by many countries around the world on Friday, May 1.
On April 30, Platts will reflect values at 12:30 pm Singapore time (0430 GMT), rather than 04:30 pm Singapore time.
Editorial processes and protocol preceding the MOC process, including time cut-offs for submission of new bids and offers and for making price changes, will also be advanced by four hours.
The 12:30 pm timing also applies to crude, products and shipping.
