Subscriber note: Platts to end FOB Mediterranean jet premium

Platts proposes to discontinue its Jet FOB Mediterranean Premium assessment with effect from January 1, 2014, reflecting changing supply and demand trends in the region. This follows Platts launch in October 2012 of a CIF Mediterranean assessment for jet fuel. The FOB Mediterranean jet assessment appears in Platts European Marketscan, Platts Global Alert pages 1420, 1421, 1422 and 1423, and in the Platts price database under code AAIDN00 (daily premium in $/mt), AAIDO00 (monthly average for the daily assessment in $/mt), ABWHA00 (daily premium in Eur/mt) and ABWHA03 (monthly average for the daily assessment in Eur/mt).
